On 26 and 27 September 2026, the Oltregiogo Days will come to Novi Ligure for their 9th edition. Two days to go back in time and immerse yourself in the Novi of the 17th century, when the town was a lively crossroads for trade, merchants and prominent Genoese families. Together with our guides, we will enter the heart of the city to discover some of its noble palaces, which still bear witness to the era when the great Genoese families chose Novi, first as the venue for the Fiere di Cambio (Exchange Fairs) and later as a holiday resort.
In addition to the visits, the programme includes:
📍 Saturday, 26 September, 10:00 a.m. “Fiere di Cambio 2.0” conference at Palazzo Negrotto-Cambiaso, the current seat of the Municipality, with talks by Prof. Paolo Calcagno, Prof. Sara Garaventa and Senator Enrico Morando.
📖 Saturday 26 September, 6:00 pm Presentation of the book by Prof. Paolo Calcagno, La Repubblica di Genova (1528-1797).
